My (Easy) Nail Art Essentials! 👩‍🎨

I’m all about EASY nail art recently. Mostly this consists of layering products, using decals or sequins, chrome, glitter, etc.!! I haven’t really hand painted any art in a hot minute and I’m loving it. Plus there are just so many cool and unique ways to layer Japanese and Korean gel that give you the most beautiful nails!

If you want to learn all of my favorite essential nail art techniques, check out my NEW Nail Art Essentials Course! It goes over six of my favorite nail art looks in detail, so you can officially master chrome, liquid chrome, magnet gel, isolated chrome & foil, and aura nails. If you’ve ever struggled with any of the above nail art looks, or you just want to learn the proper techniques and products to use, this video course is for you! Learn more about it here!

Recently my favorite nail art looks have consisted of a small rotation of products so let’s get into it:

Magnet Gel

This is a type of gel that has magnetic glitter or shimmer added, and once you apply it and activate it with a magnet, it shifts in the light and has so much dimension! I am just obsesssssssed with magnet gel right now and it’s all I want to use! It really doesn’t take too much longer than applying a layer of color gel does, and the effect is amazing.

If you want to see my magnet gel collection (and the rest of my gel collection), check out my newest youtube video too!

Here are some of my favorites for magnet gel:

High Power Magnet (my go-to!!!)

Kokoist Magnet Gels are some of my favorite (especially the water magnet collection & dramatic magnet collection)

Valla Byulling Byulling Magnet Gels (some of the most unique ones I’ve tried! They have silvery magnetic particles, iridescent pinky purple shimmer, and holographic tinsel glitter pieces!)

Yogurt Nail Kr. Glass Bead (these are also really unique! They have sheer/syrup base colors and coordinating chunky sparkly magnetic glitter. The result is like bright, sparkly 3D true bead looking nails!)

Isolated Chrome & Foil

This look requires a tiny bit more effort but it’s much easier to achieve when you use the right products!

For isolated chrome:

Non-Wipe Accessory Bond (this will be your BFF! It’s a thicker non-wipe gel which makes it really easy to draw designs with, and it also has the exact perfect finish for chrome to stick to!)

Chrome Pens (I love using these because you can easily make sure your chrome application is only getting in the spots you want it to be in! It’s also a nice and clean vessel for chrome since there really isn’t any loose powder!)

For isolated foil:

Foil Tack Gel (a specific, thicker art gel that cures with a perfectly tacky but not too tacky finish that foil loves to grip onto!)

Foils (I reach for this pack of foils the most! I just love the colors of silvers and golds and I think they look really great with my polish collection :))

If you want to see the rest of my essential nail art products AND learn my exact techniques for using them, make sure to pick up my new nail art course!! I always get asked how to do specific looks and I’m so excited to finally have a dedicated video that explains my favorite looks in detail so you can achieve them too!
