Big Fall Roundup: Nail Trends, Colors & Favorites!

I’m fully embracing and loving fall manicures right now!! I usually just want to do my nails and have them last for 2-3 weeks, but currently I have so many colors and ideas I want to try that I think I might be switching up my nails a few times a week 😂

This post is going to have some of my favorite new collections and colors for fall, some trends I’m looking forward to trying and some other favorites of the season too! Let’s get started.

Fall Colors & Collections:

You guys know I *live* for syrup-y glassy colors and magnet gel and I’m always so excited when the seasons change to start wearing deeper syrups and mag gels! I especially am loving the brown magnet nails, and cranberry and acorn colors above but they’re all so gorgeous!

These are some nails and collections I’m loving and/or can’t wait to try:

From left to right:

Yogurt Nail Gingerbread: I actually got this collection last year but didn’t have a chance to use any of the colors 😭 this year I’m absolutely changing that because those cranberry and pumpkin colors are right up my alley. They’re so vibrant and bold while also being muted and perfect for autumn.

Kokoist Terra Magnet: This is a brand new collection from Kokoist that’s launching on 10/27 - sneak peek!!! We got to play with these on my recent trip to San Antonio and they are STUNNING!!! These are 12 new earth toned colors with champagne magnet particles in it. I don’t even want to call this glitter because the magnet particles are SOOO fine. It’s really interesting because when you look at the color on the brush, it looks like greyed out and flat, but when you put it on the nail and activate the magnet, it’s insane and so glowy!! I’m going to be sharing more photos and swatches on my post next week :)

Aurora Queen Aurora Collection: This collection has 8 purpley toned magnet gels that range from two toned, to glittery, to smooth and silky in a range of purples too! I used these for this purple stone manicure I did recently and they’re sooo fun. I can’t wait to use the remaining colors :) PS - here is the tutorial.

Yogurt Nail Vintage Film: A new fall collection from YN but this time the syrup gels are a bit more muted and really do evoke a vintage vibe!! The acorn brown (syrup 13) is seriously calling my name. But also, I saw a photo on this page where the colors are bleeding together using hazy gel that looked so beautiful and I’m interested in trying that too!

Kokoist Chestnut Dramatic Magnet - I wore this last fall for my Japan trip and it’s one of my favorite manicures EVER (below)!

This is the same manicure!! The magnet gel is sooo pretty and i love how it has multiple tones!

Fall Nail Trends:

Nuance nails have been pretty big for a while but I just loveee them for autumn. These are basically just a style of nail art that originated in Japan, where you use different colors and textures to create organic, moody nail art. I love it personally because it not only looks cool, but it’s not like you need to have any perfectly painted shapes. It’s truly perfect when it’s not perfect!

I tried my hand at some inky nails the other day and I’m OBSESSED!! Catch me using inks every manicure because they are SO fun. I think I’m going to do a full post on this manicure soon so stay tuned for more info but these are all of the products I used!

I really want to try some nuance-y plaid nails soon and I also am loving the mix of sequins or tiny metallic bits on the nails too. I just bought these to try soon!
